In 2006, John C. Hopewell, III relocated his law practice to Zachary from Baton Rouge where he had practiced since 1991. The doors opened in Zachary with his practice dedicated to providing legal service with professionalism and care throughout Zachary, Central, Baker and the Felicianas.
In 2011, John was appointed the Zachary City Attorney and he continues to serve in that position today. As the City Attorney, he is the chief legal officer for the City of Zachary. He is frequently called to advise the City on matters pertaining to open meetings, public records and general municipal legal concerns.
John currently serves as the Managing Member for the Hopewell Law Firm, LLC which was formed in 2015 after years having served in that capacity in a related law firm partnership. He also serves as the Managing Member of Certain Title and Escrow, LLC. He has been in that capacity since its inception in 2006.
